The Curse
Merlin has something to tell you.
You discovered a cabin in a tree. Inside, Mother Gothel, cursed by the Old Ruler, waits. Opening the door unleashes Mother Gothel’s Dark Magic on the whole Village. To fix it, you’ll have to restore the Pillar of Trust.
It appears the Orb of Trust is stuck between two realities. You need magical help.
You learn the Sea Witch is the only one who can cast the spell you need.
Kristoff must lose his memories of Anna for the magic to work. He does it to help save the Valley.
After restoring the Pillar and breaking the curse, it’s time to go back to Mother Gothel.
You get this quest after opening up Dazzle Beach, Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. You also have to fix the Pillars of Friendship (Peaceful Meadow), Power, (Dazzle Beach) and Courage (Forest of Valor). To fix those pillars you have to complete the quests: Friendship Is Everything, With Great Power… and Lost In The Dark Grove. With completing this quest, you get Mother Gothel in your Valley. Here you can find all your subjects for the quest and explanations behind it.
- Talk to Merlin: you can find on the map where he is.
- Investigate the cursed tree in the Glade of Trust: go to the big tree in the middle of the Glade of Trust. Something magical will happen.
- Explore the cabin inside the giant tree: go inside the tree.
- Introduce yourself to Mother Gothel: talk with Mother Gothel.
- Follow Mother Gothel to the Pillar of Trust in the Glade: try to stay close to Mother Gothel. She will walk to the south of the Glade of Trust.
- Talk to Mother Gothel: she is standing next to the Pillar of Trust.
- Find Merlin: he is on Dazzle Beach.
- Listen to Merlin and Ursula: Merlin and Ursula are talking, stand close to them to see the conversation.
- Talk to Merlin about the curse: Merlin will run away from Ursula, but he will still be on Dazzle Beach. You can talk with him.
- Find out if Ursula can help you: go talk with her.
- Gather 5 Night shards and 5 Dream Shards for the enchantment: you can get Night and Dream shards by digging holes in sparkling ground.
- Convince Kristoff to help you with the spell: you can find on the map where he is.
- Meet Ursula in the cave where you first met: go to the cave on Dazzle Beach. If you see her outside the cave, you don’t need to talk with her. It will only work when you meet her inside the cave.
- Give ingredients to Ursula: talk with Ursula.
- Retrieve the Orb of Trust from the floating island in the Glade of Trust: go to the place mother Gothel showed you and pick up the Orb.
- Put the Orb of Trust back into the Pillar in the Glade of Trust: walk to the pillar and put the Orb in it.
- Talk to Mother Gothel: you can see on the map where she is. With Talking to her, you end this quest.
