Maui is looking for you.
He wants to show you something stuck in some of the sea debris on the Beach.
Maui suggests that he can improve your Pickaxe so you can free the object stuck in the sea debris, but to do so you’ll have to go back to the Moana Realm.
All of the hard work ahead makes Maui very hungry. It’s up to you to feed him.
Your Pickaxe is ready now. You’ll be able to retrieve this mysterious object on the Beach.
The Limestone you found in the sea debris gives Maui the idea to craft a Granite Fire Bowl to decorate the Village.
Maui will be so proud of your work.
You can get this quest after getting Maui to Friendship level 4. After completing this quest, you will be able to remove large sea debris with your pickaxe. Here you can find all your subjects for the quest and explanations behind it.
- Follow Maui to Dazzle Beach: try to stay close to Maui. He will walk towards sea debris on Dazzle Beach near the entrance to the Glade of Trust.
- Talk to Maui: go talk with him.
- Gather the items needed for Maui from his basket in the Moana Realm: go to the Moana Realm. Next to the ship, you find a basket. Transfer 5 Scraping Stones to your backpack.
- Bring Maui the items you gathered: go back to your own valley. There you can see on the map where Maui is. With talking to him, you show him the scraping stones.
- Cook a fresh 5-star meal for Maui: it doesn’t matter which 5-star meal you make.
- Bring the meal you cooked to Maui: you can see on the map where he is. With talking to him, you give him the meal.
- Follow Maui back to the sea debris: try to stay close to Maui. He will walk to the same place as before.
- Break the sea debris and collect what you find inside: use your pickaxe on the sea debris.
- Show Maui what you found: go talk with him.
- Gather the following items to craft a Granite Fire Bowl: 20 Sands, 25 Stones, 10 Coal Ores and 3 Red Falling Penstemons. Sand can be found with digging on Dazzle Beach or mining at sea debris. Stones and Coal ore can be found with mining. Red Falling Penstemons can be found in the Plaza.
- Craft a Granite Fire Bowl: make it from the items you just gathered.
- Place the Granite Fire Bowl in the Village: you can find the fire bowl in your backpack. Place it somewhere in the village.
- Return to talk to Maui: with talking to Maui, you complete this quest.
