Breaking Bones (Level 4)

Breaking Bones
Scar wants to get rid of the bones that are littering the Sunlit Plateau and asks you to help him do it. He tells you that Scrooge McDuck has a mold that could help you improve your Royal Shovel.
After getting the Mold from Scrooge McDuck, you manage to get Scar to remember what materials you need.
Using your new and improved Royal Shovel, you manage to remove the smallest of the wildebeest bones littering the plateau. Scar should be happy.
You can get this quest after getting Scar to Friendship level 4. After this quest, you will be able to remove small wildebeest bones. Here you can find all your subjects for the quest and explanations behind it.

  • Talk to Scrooge McDuck: you can see on the map where he is.
  • Return to Scar: you can see on the map where Scar is.
  • Gather the materials to improve your Royal Shovel: 5 Lion’s Claws buried near the cliffs on the Sunlit Plateau. 5 Dry Woods and 5 Iron Ingots. You can dig the claws up from sparkling ground near the cliff on sunlit plateau (close to the entrée of the forgotten lands). Dry wood can be found at Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights and the forgotten Lands. Iron Ingots can be made from 5 Iron Ore and 1 Coal Ore. Iron Ore and Coal Ore can be found with mining at the Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights and the Forgotten Lands.
  • Craft the Lion’s Claw Shovel Head: go to a crafting station, and craft it from the items you just gathered.
  • Improve the Shovel by using the new Lion’s Claw Shovel Head: go to your backpack. There you will find the item and be able to activate it.
  • Remove the 5 small wildebeest bones littering the Sunlit Plateau: use your shovel on 5 small wildebeest bones.
  • Return to Scar: you can see on the map where Scar is. With talking to him, you complete this quest.
