Crystal Mystery
Merlin is looking for you to talk about an important topic. He wants to investigate a strange crystal he found in the forest of valor. He thinks it might be connected to Donald Duck’s adventures in the Dark Grove.
After examining another one of these crystals, he calls them night shards and asks you to look for more.
Suspecting that Night Shards are just corrupted forms of Dream Shards, he suggests you experiment with them.
You manage to purify a Night Shard.
Merlin encourages you to give the new Purified Night Shard as a gift to any Villager.
You can get this quest after getting friendship level 6 with Merlin. Here you can find all your subjects for the quest and explanations behind it.
- Explore the Forest of Valor with Merlin: follow Merlin into the Forest of Valor. Next to the pillar, there lies a Mysterious Shard on the ground. Pick it up.
- Bring Merlin your discovery: give it to Merlin, he came with you to the forest.
- Gather 5 night shards; you get them by digging at sparkling ground.
- Go back to Merlin with all the night shards: you can see on the map where he is.
- Craft a Purified Night Shard: you can make it from 5 night shards and 1 Dream shard.
- Bring the Purified night shard to Merlin: you can find on the map where he is.
- Gift a Purified night shard to anyone in the village: give it to one of the characters. With giving them it, you complete this quest.
